The Starry Expanse Community

Its on the backburner unfortunately because lack of publisher interest in VR focused adventure games. They went to GDC to pitch it but no bites.

Here's an idea. Do a video interview with Robyn Miller and Richard Vander Wende on the significance, history and legacy of Riven. I would pay for this big time.

Honestly I'm convinced we should do a Kickstarter to hire Charles Dance.

I still think it has to have the title Riven in it because of brand recognition also this is Riven after all. The title is as much a part of the experience as anything else with its cool font and five letters along with the meaning of the word. Starry Expanse is good as a working title but it's not ...

Personally I find realMyst: Masterpiece Edition to be kind of a bittersweet experience. While its a lot more user friendly and graphically clean than Myst, it lacks in the aesthetics and charm of Myst which really had a sumptuous, painterly flavour.
