hahaha wow
Last night I literally woke up with this epiphany: the mining cart that goes from jungle island to the workshop island is not actually meant to be a human transport, but rather an automated mechanism for throwing wood into the wood chipper. Haha I feel like such an idiot for not realizing that befor...

Re: HD-ifying Riven
I love what you've done! How cool!
Is there any way you could get a hi-res image of the Whark up at all?? I'd love to use one as a wallpaper, but I can't find an image hi-res enough, other than fanart (deliciously good fanart... but still not the image I'm looking for.)

Re: Myst music.
The Exile main theme is a family favorite. haha, even my mom, who has never played a Myst game, stole all the soundtracks from me when I was in highschool so she could put them on her iPod. She will even be like, "Jack Wall is one of my favorite composers" when people ask her about music! ...

Re: The Myst Ages From Best to Worst!
My favorite ages? I think I will pick one from each game rather than try to rate them in some kind of order, other than the first one... D'ni : I would probably rate D'ni at the top of the list, too. Buried deep into the rock, illuminated by a great orange lake, it is alien and mysterious even as it...

Re: Which Game Had the Best Art-Direction?
Playing through Riven again, it does seem to be the most cohesive world, with just the right amount of detail, the right amount of backstory in the journals, everything seeming to have a purpose, etc and so forth. As a sequel, it was definitely an amazing improvement on the original, basically perfe...

Re: Old Enemies
I was, at the time, playing the 5 CD version where you had to change the disc every time you changed islands. I think I wasn't patient enough to do all the exploring and back-and-forth needed to collect all the proper information, at the time. I just beat the fire marble puzzle on my 2nd try, yeaaah...
