I read the Book of Atrus years ago, but it was lost when I moved for college. I loved it, it's great for understanding the story behind Myst, Riven, and Uru.

We will be utilizing normal maps and PBR textures. Bump mapping is actually a pretty old texturing style that isn't used in most games anymore.

We use IRC for chatting, which allows us to keep logs so folks can take a look if they missed anything. At this time, we're using Perforce for asset management, which seems to work very well. It integrates with the Unreal engine quite smoothly, making that process a lot easier. Aaaand, we use Google...
