Possibility of revised Prison Island demo?

OK, so I've read your comments about trying to limit public demo content, in the concern that too high a proportion of the game might be available outside the game when it finally becomes released. I can very well understand the potential risks involved in too many public demos.

However, your last (and only) public demo is heavily outdated, being both several years old and based on an outdated engine (Unity 3). While I can understand your reluctance to revisit an already thoroughly explored zone, I feel that it would be nice to see how the new engine (Unreal 4) changes the feel of that well-known zone. (And don't tell me there are no differences in how the area looks, because enough of the underlying mechanics are different to make a dramatic change in experience!) Showcasing a different zone each year is great and all, but I would also like to see the comparative progress on a single region.

Would it be possible for you guys to re-release your Prison Island demo in Unreal, just so we can see the difference?

Thanks,

We will get back to Prison Island eventually, but I can't answer for when.

Prison Island is just not that high on our list of priorities right now because it's well and truly under-control. Our current development philosophy is to focus on the difficult areas that may still include R&D. We have a specific area lined up for the sprint after the 233 deadline, but that area is not Prison Island.

As for the release of another demo, we have no plans to release anything playable in the foreseeable future.

Thanks for the question, sorry for the late reply!
