What are y'all's favorite moments in the Myst games?
One that always stands out to me particularly, is when you solve the animal puzzle in the Moiety caves. The ripple effect, the sound, the music, it amazes me every time I play through that part.

The very first Mag-Lev ride, from Riven's Temple to Jungle Island. I was blown away, and even the error I used to get during the switching of disks immediately after didn't put me off.

the first time you get in the elevator in the library on Myst island and ride it up. This simply amazed me as a kid... I felt like I really was in this elevator, and I had all these fears like, "how long as this been here? what if it gets stuck? who built this?" It was the first animation I saw and that moment... I'm gonna say that moment hooked me on Myst forever.
I also really love the Whark swimming past the underwater observatory in Riven, and basically everything Brad Dourif did in Myst III. Descending the shaft in Myst V was awesome (despite exposition-man appearing every three seconds to lecture at you...). Also, simply entering the Dn'i city in the Uru expansion pack...!! All the invisible waist-high fences were totally worth it just to see such a seemingly expansive environment that was neither an island nor a canyon.
